Highlight colours

Highlight colours are used to add colour and interest to components and illustrations. Each highlight colour has four tints that are used in different ways:

  • Highlight - shadows: Mainly used to provide shadows in illustrations.
  • Highlight - darks: Mainly used as the primary colour in illustrations. Also used to provide left border lines on hero pathway components.
  • Highlight - mids: Mainly used as the primary colour in illustration. Also used to provide the icon background on some components.
  • Highlight - lights: Background colours for components that require a light coloured background. Not used in BGA illustrations.
