The name of the event.

  • Maximum character limit of 50.

A short paragraph explaining what the event is.

A short paragraph that details what the event is about and what information it provides.

The event type and who the event is intended for.

  • Event types include:
    • Webinar
    • Workshop
    • Forum
    • Networking event

Who the event is intended for.

  • Audience refers to the location of the businesses that are eligible for the event. e.g. 'NSW businesses', 'Australian businesses'.

Optional. The main speaker for the event.

The event sponsors. Sponsors are separated with commas if there are more than one.

The event organiser.

The cost of the event.

Information on where and when the event is held. This information displays differently depending on whether the event has multiple sessions.

  • Location is displayed in the format [City, State].
  • Digital events with no physical location are listed as 'Online'.
  • Date is displayed in the format [Tue 15 Nov 2022].
  • Time is displayed in format [12:30 - 1:30 pm AEDT]
  • Address is the street address of the event. Address is not displayed for online events.

The organisation handling the event registrations displayed in the following format:

  • 'Register for this event through [Organisation name]'

A dropdown that allows users to select the session they are interested in attending.

Only displayed if an event has multiple sessions.

A link to the event registration page (usually on an external site).

If there are different registration links for different event sessions the link will change dynamically as a session is selected.

Guidelines for use

Purpose

An event page is a single page detailing an event.

It should always include:

  • Information on what the event offers and who it is for
  • Brief description about the event agenda
  • Information on where and when the event is being held. This may include information about multiple sessions for the same event
  • An event registration link
  • A maximum 90 character metadata description for search (this does not appear on the page)
